✨ “Small islands of coherence in a sea of chaos have the capacity to shift the entire system to a higher order.” – Ilya Prigogine, Nobel Laureate
He was describing thermodynamics.
He was also describing the Continuous Decision Model (CDM).
💡 CDM establishes the islands of coherence and anchors you to them.
And gives you a way to navigate between them.
The sea remains chaotic. That never changes.
But with CDM, you are never lost in it. Every decision is coherent, governed, explicit.
To navigate the sea of chaos, you have an anchor point to guard what's important before departure.
And from each one, you can see the previous and next islands. Full visibility across the sea, upstream and downstream.
💥 Each island in the sea is evolving as well. That's how stages in continuum evolve in CDM.
That is not control of the system.
That is governance of the ecosystem.
Prigogine identified the phenomenon. CDM operationalizes it.
